MONTVILLE, CT - A GoFundMe crowdfunding page has been set up to help the family of Joseph Kolashuk, the 12-year-old Montville boy who was injured on March 5 after being hit by a truck.
As of today, March 24, more than $5,200 has been raised toward a goal of $50,000, which will go toward assisting Joe and his family with his long recovery, according to cousin Holly Goggin, who set up the page.
"We are asking for your prayers and donations to help support Joe on his long road to recovery," Goggin wrote. "At this point much remains to be seen and each day brings more developments and renewed hope. As Joe's health progresses and more information about his condition emerges, these funds will be used to purchase medical and adaptive equipment and to cover various expenses associated with his new and changing needs."
