Heritage walking tours of Stonington village are offered Sunday afternoons at 2 pm throughout the summer, weather permitting. Sponsored by the Stonington Historical Society, the tour starts at the Old Lighthouse Museum, 7 Water Street. $10 per adult, $5 per student (to age 18). No reservations are required. Discounts offered when combined with museum admission. The Old Lighthouse Museum is open to visitors every day except Wednesdays, 10 am to 5 pm. The Capt. Palmer House, a National Historic Landmark, is open 1 to 5 pm Thursday through Sunday.
