The Thames Yacht Club (TYC) has been an active member of the New London maritime community since 1933. At the present time, the club has approximately 200 members which include our boating members and beach members. The club is located at 396 Pequot Avenue which is on the Thames River with direct access (no bridges) to Long Island Sound and Fishers Island Sound. Our Facilities include a clubhouse with food service during the summer, dock, launch, white sand beach, and a large mooring area with approximately 80 mooring location. Throughout the season the club offers a wide range of activities including sailboat racing, cruising, summer sailing programs for children, weeknight sailing instructions for adults and a wide variety of social events.
