When asked about her vote and how important it was in light of the tragedy at Newtown, Rep. Betsy Ritter said no law can make up for the tragedy at Newtown.
“It still can’t be measured in the face of what happened in Newtown, in terms of response or reactions I’m not suggesting that it’s finished or even compensates but it provides a way for us to continue to work on clear problems we’ve been looking at.
