The Slave Inside Me -- Through Aug. 18

What does it mean to be a slave today? Writers Block Ink students who spent part of their summer at the Hempsted Houses ask that question in this original performance. The final show is at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18 at Hempsted. Join us at 1 for a special introduction to the project. You’re also welcome to stay afterward to meet the cast, enjoy light refreshments and discuss the show. Other performances are at 7 p.m. on Aug. 15-17 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Writers Block, 446 Colman St. Admission is $10 for students, $12 for adults and $8/person for groups of five or more. All proceeds benefit the Writers Block.
