Today the fire weather is Very High, no open burning permits are valid. Anyone who kindles a fire may be suject to a $200 fine and possibly 6 months in jail in accordance with section 23-48 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Please refrain from having any outside fire even campfire until we get some rain.
