2 People Killed In Multiple Vehicle Accident On Route 8 In Waterbury
BREAKING: State Police are investigating the accident and the off-ramp is closed.

WATERBURY, CT — Two people are dead after an accident occurred on a Route 8 exit ramp in Waterbury, according to media reports including WTNH News 8.
According to the state Department of Transportation, the Route 8 northbound Exit 35 off-ramp is closed as of 9:30 a.m. Route 73 is closed at East Aurora Street because of a two-vehicle accident, the DOT says. It may take up to three hours to clear the scene.
News 8 reports that the accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. No identities of the victims have been released.
