5 Critically Injured In Waterbury Head-On Collision: Police
The victims include three adults and two children, according to police.
WATERBURY, CT — Five people were critically injured in a two-vehicle, head-on accident early Friday afternoon.
Sgt. Joseph Morais said the crash happened around 12:08 p.m. near 74 Bunker Hill Ave.
Two vehicles, an Infinity sedan and Toyota sedan, were traveling in the opposite direction on Bunker Hill Avenue when they collided head-on, according to Morais.

The occupants of both vehicles, who are all Waterbury residents, were rushed to local area hospitals.
A 25-year-old woman, the driver and lone occupant of the Infinity, sustained life-threatening internal injuries and she currently remains in critical condition, police said.

A 31-year-old woman, who was driving the Toyota, and her three passengers, a 40-year-old female, 12-year-old, and 6-year-old male, are all in critical condition for internal injuries.
The department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the accident.
