Auditions Announced for One Actor in 'Jellofish' at Phoenix Stage Company
The actor must be able to successfully portray a 75 to 80 year old man.
Phoenix Stage Company is seeking an actor to play the role of BILLY in our upcoming production of JELLOFISH. The actor must be able to successfully portray a 75 to 80 year old man.
JELLOFISH focuses on four World War II Veterans who have been playing a monthly game of poker since 1945. They’ve been dragging five percent from every pot for over 50 years and this “side pot” has grown to a sizable fortune.
This play was awarded to Phoenix Stage Company after winning AACTNewPlayFest and we were selected as one of six theaters from across the country to produce a new work. Opening on May 2nd and running through May 11th for a total of 6 performances, this play is going to publish with Dramatic Publishing after our production is complete. We will also be reviewed by a New York literary agent and the playwright will be in attendance.
OPEN AUDITIONS will be held on Sunday, March 30th from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Phoenix Stage Company, 686 Rubber Avenue, Naugtauck. For a sample of the script or more information email ed@phoenixstagecompany.org or call 203-632-8546.
