Auditions Announced for 'Twelfth Night' at Phoenix Stage Company
All roles are open for audition.
Phoenix Stage Company has some exciting news! Drew Scott, Adjunct Professor at Quinnipiac College, will be directing their upcoming production of TWELFTH NIGHT, a comedy by William Shakespeare.
In the kingdom of Illyria, a nobleman named Orsino lies around listening to music, pining away for the love of Lady Olivia. He cannot have her because she is in mourning for her dead brother
and refuses to entertain any proposals of marriage.
Auditions are set for Monday, July 7th and Tuesday, July 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. If you are auditioning you will be reading sides from the script. You are asked to dress comfortably for movement and you may be asked to sing something a Capella if you are willing and depending on the role(s) you are auditioning for.
No appointments are necessary, but we ask that you arrive as close to 7pm as possible. All roles are open for audition. Any questions may be sent by email or you can call the theater at 203-632-8546
Production dates for Twelfth Night are September 12 & 13 at 8:00 pm & September 14 at 2:00 pm

Malvolio - The straitlaced steward—or head servant—in the household of Lady Olivia.
Feste - The clown, or fool, of Olivia’s household, Feste moves between Olivia’s and Orsino’s homes.
Sir Toby - Olivia’s uncle.
Maria - Olivia’s clever, daring young waiting-gentlewoman.
Sir Andrew Aguecheek - A friend of Sir Toby’s.
Antonio - A man who rescues Sebastian after his shipwreck. --
