PALMERTON, Penn. – Exciting updates from Blue Mountain Resort! Despite the arrival of spring, the mountain is revving up their snow guns from tonight through Friday to ensure top-notch spring skiing conditions this weekend! Plus, the resort is hosting two fantastic events: the popular Cardboard Box Derby on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and its inaugural Easter Egg Hunt on the Snow on Sunday, March 24, starting at 11 a.m.

With an impressive 12 trails open, the most in the state, skiers and riders can fully embrace the thrill of springtime skiing. And when it's time to recharge, Blue Mountain’s selection of energizing fare from fun food trucks and open dining venues is ideal for fueling up between runs.

Details for this weekend’s events:

Cardboard Box Derby
Saturday, March 23
10 a.m. Check-in for all racers in the Summit Lodge Lobby
11 a.m. Race begins on School Hill, outside the Summit Lodge

Prizes will be awarded for the fastest, most creative, and most festive.

Easter Egg Hunt on the Snow
Sunday, March 24
10:45 a.m. Registration at the Summit Lodge Courtyard
11 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt begins

Prizes include free tickets to the Summit Adventure Park, Snow Tubing, a week of Summer Adventure Camp, Blue Mountain Gift Cards, free tickets to Laser Tag, toys, and more.
After the Egg Hunt, participating kids can enjoy a complimentary lunch at Slopeside Pub & Grill with the purchase of an adult’s entrée (one free kid’s meal per entrée purchase)

Mountain Hours: Friday, Noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
