Broadway Method Academy 2019 Year in Review
2019 was one of the busiest years on record for Broadway Method Academy.

Fairfield, CT - 2019 was one of the busiest years on record for Broadway Method Academy. We accomplished many of our goals and provided unique opportunities to our students and community. This year brought tremendous growth for the organization, most notably however, was serving over 1,300 students.
Throughout the year we produced two mainstage productions at Westport Country Playhouse and five productions in our studio theater with over 9,000 patrons in attendance. The second annual Sondheim Awards, held at the Shubert Theatre involved nineteen schools and welcomed nearly 1,200 patrons to celebrate excellence in high school musical theater.
Our most impressive growth however, was our increased enrollment in classes. This year we increased our class offerings and saw over 300 students weekly. Throughout that time, over 60 theater professionals, including Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, helped to train and inspire our students.

Together, with the Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation, we began work on an important outreach program that works with programs like Hall Neighborhood House in Bridgeport to offer musical theater training to its students.
As a non-profit organization, we are tasked with not only providing quality services to our community, but also being conscious of ways in which we can help the community around us. Our goal is to create a culturally conscious and inclusive learning environment where students with varying races, religions, abilities and socio-economic statuses are celebrated.
