Connecticare Extends No-cost Virtual Visits Through June
No-cost telehealth benefits have been extended through June for members.

No-cost telehealth benefits extended through June
Caution is key to controlling spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). So, continue to use telehealth for covered medical and mental health services without paying a deductible, copayment, or coinsurance through June 30.
No-cost telehealth visits apply to any illness or injury – not just coronavirus (COVID-19). You must, however, use in-network primary care doctors, specialists, or mental health clinicians.

Remember, masks required in public settings
You may decide to venture out as businesses begin to reopen. Remember that Connecticut and Massachusetts both require people to wear a mask or cloth face covering when out in public and unable to maintain a safe distance (at least six feet). The mask should cover nose and mouth. There are some exceptions for age and health restrictions.

Not all services may be available via telehealth or telemedicine from MDLIVE®, if that is included in your ConnectiCare plan. MDLIVE doctors cannot order lab tests, including tests for COVID-19. Self-funded employer plans may have different coverage or opt out of this telehealth waiver program.
