Fire Breaks Out In Bedroom Of Naugatuck Building: FD
Firefighters responded to a blaze that broke out in the bedroom of a building on a narrow street in Naugatuck.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire that broke out Friday morning in a third floor bedroom of a High Street building.
In a Facebook post, fire officials said the High Street neighborhood presented some challenges for the fire department; the street is narrow with overhead utility wires, the homes are on a slope and many of the buildings are multi-family occupied.
No injuries were reported, fire officials said.

Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 provided station coverage during the fire and the Waterbury Fire Department provided an additional ladder truck.
The American Red Cross is assisting tenants of the building with finding temporary housing, fire officials said.
