Four members of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church made their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 4 during the 11:00am Mass. Reverand Eugene Kotlinski, C.M. presided over the Mass and Director of Religious Education Sue Plaskon made sure everything went smoothly. CCD teacher Maggie Sidoti prepared the students for the sacrament.
The communicants included Patryk Deptula, Deepak Prakash, Blake Stone and Stephanie Sutherland. They received their First Holy Communion surrounded by their family members.
Next Sunday, St. Mary Church will have their First Holy Communion. David Patton, Andrew M. Zembruski and Samuel D. Zembruski will receive communion for the first time during the 10:30am Mass and DRE Marie Elderkin invites parishioners to attend.
Congratulations to all these children on this milestone.
