Free Hearing Tests Offered Through December 31, 2015

And How Hearing in Waterbury, immediately off I-84 next to NVCC, is offering free, no obligation tests through December

“The Thanksgiving holiday week is often an eye-opener for individuals and family members,” stated Howard Raff, owner of And How Hearing in Waterbury and Avon, “when people realize their inabilities to hear what people are saying, and their inabilities to participate in conversations. This becomes very frustrating for the individual as well as their loved ones, and frequently creates sadness and isolation. Feelings of fear, anger and discouragement isolate individuals and often leads to increasing frustrations for everyone gathered together.”

Through December 31, 2015, And How Hearing is offering free hearing tests to adults 18 and older. “We offer options. If hearing loss is detected and hearing aids are recommended, we offer aids that start at $1,095 and increase as levels of technology needed increases. We know how important hearing effectively is to a person’s sense of self-worth, happiness and good overall health. That is why we offer a full range of technology vary from moderate to high end pricing.”

And How Hearing’s Raff assures no obligations are made of visitors to And How Hearing for free hearing tests. “There are no strings attached. No hidden costs. Certainly no obligations. Our role is first to educate everyone who comes to us about hearing loss. We want people to know that research overwhelmingly affirms that hearing loss is often tied to multiple health problems. These problems can range from risk of falling and Dementia to possible heart attacks and strokes.”

We want to understand a person’s lifestyle, health issues, limitations or concerns. We consider all of this plus budget constraints. Because we want to help people to hear better, we also offer various forms of financing options. We research the most effective and affordable hearing aids for each individual and present the most affordable pricing options from the bottom up not from the most expensive ’down’.”
