Future Chef Makes Guest Appearance at Nardelli's

Maple Hill Elementary School's Future Chef winner Cayla Howard made a guest appearance at the Naugatuck Nardelli's Grinder Shoppe on Saturday, April 12th from 12 to 2pm. Ms. Howard passed out samples of her winning sandwich recipe called "The Health Factor."

Many Maple Hill students and their families, as well as members of the Howard family, came out to try the yummy grilled sandwich which features grilled chicken, pesto, spinach and feta cheese. It was selling briskly at this Saturday lunchtime.
 
The Naugatuck Nardelli's will be featuring the recipe from the Future Chef winner through April 19th. They will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from every sandwich sold to the Naugatuck High School Culinary Arts Department. Thank you to the Nardelli family for this generous donation.
