I flipped a flat gutter end in my son's yard and there were two snakes under it! Very unusual to see two separate species in the same space. Garter's are not known for eating other snakes. I went to bet my camera and the DeKay wasn't there any more. I found him a few seconds later in the grass. There has been an unusually high amount of snakes around that area lately. I think it's because they took all those old bricks and junk in that area across from Friendly's Restaraunt. There were a lot of snakes back there, perfect area for them. Now they are spread around those houses in that area.
