The Drama Team from Naugatuck's Horgan Academy of Irish Dance recently took second place at the North American Irish Dance Championships. The dance group in their Titanic costumes and their instructors Irene and Maureen Horgan are pictured above. The Horgan drama and solo dancers won a total of 21 medals at the competition that took place July 2 through July 4, 2014 in Montreal.
During Labor Day weekend, the Horgan Academy will sponsor the 2014 Constitution State Feis. Details can be found on the Horgan Academy website.
