Lake Compounce Hosts World’s Largest Roller Coaster Ride

Lake Compounce, The Official Park of Family Fun, is joining parks around the world for the largest simultaneous dispatch of roller coasters to celebrate the anniversary of the first modern roller coaster, LaMarcus Thompson’s Switchback Railway.

Join us as we send Wildcat and Boulder Dash on Sunday, June 16 at exactly 2 p.m. EST for the World’s Largest Coaster Ride. Wildcat Roller Coaster reopened this season after undergoing a year-long re-tracking project offering visitors a smoother and more enjoyable ride experience. Boulder Dash continues its multi-year improvement project this season as more than 1,000 feet of all-new steel track has been added to the ride.

The fun continues all weekend long with the pint-sized party, Kids Fest. This weekend will include meet and greets with beloved characters, plus exclusive kids shows, roaming entertainment throughout Kiddie Land, special kid-themed food like Fruity Pebbles churros, Unicorn shakes and MORE!
