(Ben Gibbs)

Summer is almost over, and there’s just one more weekend to make a splash at Lake Compounce! September 7 is the final day of the season for Crocodile Cove, Connecticut’s Largest Water Park, making Labor Day weekend the perfect time for one last dose of summer fun.

Families can cool off on attractions like the Venus Vortex, Storm Surge, Croc-O-Nile lazy river and wave pools, then keep the summer celebration going with a Fireworks Spectacular over the lake at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5.

And for families who aren’t ready for the fun to end, a Lake Compounce Season Pass offers unlimited visits throughout the season, including Phantom Fall Fest, making it easy to keep the memories going again and again. The park’s beloved day to night fall event returns for its fifth season on Saturday, Sept. 19 and will run select days through Nov. 1.
