Moped Rider Injured In Waterbury Collision: PD

WATERBURY, CT — A moped rider was injured in a Thursday night collision with a vehicle on Hill Street, according to police.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Hill and Moran streets, according to Lt. Ryan Bessette.

The moped operator, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The operator of the vehicle, also an adult male, was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation, police said.
