Naugatuck Community Band Invites New Members to Join

The Naugatuck Community Band is a nonprofit volunteer organization made up of community members of all skill levels. The band performs throughout the year at holiday concerts, patriotic events and an annual outdoor summer concert on the Naugatuck Green. They are under the direction of Charley Marenghi.

The NCB plays a mix of music easy enough for novice instrumentalists but also plays some challenging pieces for more advanced players. All are welcome to join. The band is in particular need of clarinet and flute players.

Rehearsals are most Thursday nights during the school year in the City Hill Middle School band room from 7 to 9 p.m.
