Naugatuck Duck Day 2022 [Photos]
The photos taken by Naugatuck/Bethwood Patch Mayor Nancy Sasso Janis show all of the fun that was had at the Duck Race on Sunday.
Naugatuck - The annual Duck Day was back in person on Sunday. The event ran in the area of Maple Street from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with the important Duck Drop help at 2:00 p.m.
The first place prize of the Duck Race was $5,000 cash. Second place was a $1,000 prize and third prize was $500, all donated by by the Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce. The 4th prize of the Duck Race was a one year Family Membership for up to 4 people to the Naugatuck YMCA. The 5th prize of the Duck Race is a $500 Gift Certificate for Dinner Party Service for up to eight guests redeemable at The Station Restaurant. Winners have been posted on the Duck Day website.
Volunteers were on hand for set up, clean up, ticket selling, and more.
