Naugatuck Police Make Arrests in Naugatuck High School Vandalism Incident

Police say a group of juveniles also allegedly stole money and a sweatshirt.

Naugatuck police say they charged juveniles with allegedly causing vandalism to Naugatuck High School last month.

In a police press release, it states that on January 26 at 7:30 a.m. the School Resource Officer investigated a past vandalism incident at the school.

During the investigation it was determined the juveniles were attending a basketball game at the school after hours, police said.

The juveniles left the game and walked the hallways and allegedly vandalized a locked door, stole money and a sweatshirt, police said.

The juveniles were charged with second-degree criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.
