Naugatuck Youth Services to Host Teen Stress Clinic
Naugatuck Youth Services will host a Teen Stress Workshop May 31st.
Research shows the most stressed among us are now American teenagers. In addition to tests and college applications are the pressures of learning to navigate an increasingly complicated social and technological landscape.
Life for the modern teen has become complicated, but still we as parents and community professionals are often reluctant to listen. What’s more, researchers warn prolonged stress in these pivotal years can have life-long implications for health and happiness. The youthful simplicity found in time's past is no longer a reality for today's teenager.
