New Restaurant Coming Soon to Former Naugatuck Train Station Site: Report

The owners are in the process of renovating the former train station and museum into a new restaurant.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Renovations are being made to transform Naugatuck’s historic former downtown train station on Water Street into a new restaurant — called The Station, according to the Waterbury Republican-American.

The Republican-American reports owners Carlos Santos and Jim Perzhilla are in the midst of spending about $500,000 on the restoration of the more than 120-year-old structure, which was long used as a museum and for office space.

The owners are targeting an October opening, but want to make sure they get it done right, according to the Republican-American.
