Pa'lante Theater Company Prepares to Open Black Box Theater
Pa'lante is going to have it's new home at 158 Grand Street, the former John Bale Book Store!

Welp the cat is out of the Bag! Pa'lante Theater Company is preparing to finally open our Black Box Theater Space. We are in the final phases of build out and construction. This space is in the heart of Downtown Waterbury, Connecticut. Pa'lante is going to have it's new home at 158 Grand Street, the former John Bale Book Store!
We are still grateful and will still present/produce shows at our partner locations of Seven Angels Theatre, The Bushnell, and Mattatuck Museum, this however will allow Pa'lante Theater Company to offer more shows, plays, musicals, live singers, poets, spoken words and indepedent and cult classic films that are reflective of the community who lives in it to downtown. Connecting and creating more theater downtown to allign with the already amazing work being done by Shakesperience Productions Inc, City Youth Theater / City Stage Company and the Palace Theater.

The first floor will be home to our multipurpose performing arts space that will feature "Pa'lante Cafe," a full service Coffee/Tea cafe that will feature small eats and your favorite concession items as well as an art gallery and full alcohol bar.
The second floor will be the new home of the Afro Caribbean Cultural Center Inc and feature both ACCC and Pa'lante's Admin Offices and cultural center workshop space / secondary rehershal venue for Pa'lante!

We are grateful to M4M Investments for making this happen and believing in the vision of the Cultural Center/Pa'lante Theater. The space is undergoing renovations and updates as we speak. Stay tuned for the Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening Ceremony that will take place this fall and feature live entertainment, food and drinks!
