Police Presence To Be Increased At New Naugatuck Skate Park: PD
Police said the increased presence of officers is in response to complaints of people consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana at the park.
NAUGATUCK, CT — There will be an increased police presence at the new Naugatuck skate park following complaints of people consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana after hours there, according to police.
In a Facebook post, police said these actions are prohibited at the newly-installed park and rules will be enforced there.
"The long-awaited skate park has been a great addition to our community," police said on Facebook, "and it is our goal to ensure it be a safe environment for all."
