PPRN Radio Expands to 24/7 Format, Adds Two New Shows to Schedule

Naugatuck-based operation takes Net radio in new directions

NAUGATUCK, CT – April 19, 2016 – PPRN Radio, the online channel (PPRNRadio.net) that promises “talk radio with an inappropriate touch of music,” is proud to announce that it will expand its offerings to a 24/7 format beginning on Saturday, April 23. The new 24/7 format will launch with the premiere of “Mix Tape Saturdays,” a new music-infused program running from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and featuring the creative output of the nation’s most innovative DJs.

Also coming to PPRN this spring is “CT Rocks on PPRN,” hosted by longtime Connecticut radio mainstay Bob D’Aprile. The new show, which highlights the Nutmeg State’s current and vintage music talent, will be broadcast on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

The new programming joins PPRN Radio’s line-up of eclectic original shows, including the raucous talk-comedy-music hi-jinks of “The Peter Pinho Show” (Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm), the celebration of under-the-radar music talent in “Undiscovered” (Mondays from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm), the cheerful palaver of “3 Guys Talking Sports” (Sundays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm), and the cinematic focus in “The Online Movie Show” (Mondays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm).
