Torrington, CT – The Warner Theatre’s Metropolitan Opera Live in HD Series continues with Puccini’s TURANDOT in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre at 12:55 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016.

Nina Stemme, one of opera’s greatest dramatic sopranos, takes on the title role of the proud princess of legendary China. Tenor Marco Berti is Calàf, the brave prince who sings “Nessun dorma” and wins her hand. Franco Zeffirelli’s golden production is conducted by Paolo Carignani.

A complimentary pre-opera lecture will be presented by Jeffrey Engel and offered to all ticketholders two-hours before broadcast begins in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre lobby.
