Reward Increased For Info In Naugatuck Robbery, Assault Case: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A $1,500 reward for information about a robbery in which an elderly Naugatuck resident was violently assaulted has been increased to $2,500, according to police.

Police announced the increased reward, offered in collaboration with Water-Oak Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest connected to the robbery investigation, late Wednesday night on Facebook.

According to police, the robbery suspects entered a home at 53 Conrad Street (Oak Terrace) around 6 p.m. on June 6 and violently assaulted an elderly resident.

Police said the resident was physically injured and their personal property was stolen as a result of the robbery.

"We are reaching out to the community for assistance," police said on Facebook. "Anyone with information that could aid the investigation is urged to come forward. Your help is needed to ensure our community's safety."
