Sacred Heart HS Honor Society Donated Supplies To Acts 4 Ministry

Students in the honor society provided donated back-to-school supplies to the non-denominational nonprofit Acts 4 Ministry's school program

Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. in Waterbury is the recipient of back-to-school supplies that were collected by members of the Sacred Heart High School National Honor Society in Waterbury. The group chose to collect the supplies to help support children in the Waterbury community for the upcoming academic year.

The National Honor Society members exceeded their goal by donating over 400 items including pencils, notebooks, binders, paper, folders, crayons, glue sticks, and more to the non-denominational nonprofit organization. In addition to the school supplies, the school community collected gently used clothing that was also donated.

Photographed recently at Sacred Heart High School with the donations were students (from the left) Hannah Murphy, Kathryn Bussey, Alyssa Steel, Arreyion Yates, Klajdi Cepa and Ellen Rogers, former Acts 4 Ministry’s Chairperson and current co-director with her husband, Dave Rogers, of the organization’s Furniture Home Delivery Ministry.
