"Still River Jam" Fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 9, 2 to 6 PM Featuring "ShotDown" Country Band

The non-profit Harrybrooke Park in New Milford will host a live country music concert in their family-friendly park, cost is $20/person

On Saturday, September 9 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., the nonprofit Harrybrooke Park in New Milford will bring live music to the park with the “Still River Jam”. This event will feature one of Connecticut’s top modern acoustic country bands, “Shot Down”, plus great vendors and great food for purchase from JoJo’s Deli in New Milford.

“This is a brand new event for the park,” states Harrybrooke Park Executive Director Billy Buckbee. “It will feature terrific live music in a family-friendly outdoor park environment in the late summer.”

Harrybrooke Park, and the on-property Harden House Museum, is a 501©3 non-profit organization and does not receive funding from the Town of New Milford, the state or the U.S. Federal Government. The park’s operation is fully dependent on donations and private funding.

Harrybrooke Park provides a safe, tranquil place for families and individuals to walk, run, ride a bike or simply sit and take in the peaceful park setting. The mission of the park is to serve the greater New Milford area community at no cost to the Town of New Milford or its taxpayers.

In 1965, the private Harden family left their home and estate as the abundant gift of Harrybrooke Park for the benefit, recreation and pleasure of the community-at-large. Combined with tremendous community support of ongoing events and volunteer contributions, Harrybrooke is able to maintain the peaceful natural setting that serves so many people on a year-round basis at no charge to visitors.
