Waterbury, CT – February 29, 2016 Sweets to the Sweet: An Evening of Shakespeare & Song. For the fourth year in a row, Shakesperience will be presenting Sweets to the Sweet, a delectable event featuring a dessert tasting presented by some of the area’s finest bakeries and candy companies; live and silent auctions featuring some truly one-of-a-kind items and packages; and performances of some of Shakespeare’s most iconic scenes – brought to life not only by Shakesperience’s top-notch resident actors, but also by the cream of the crop of local executives, legislative and community leaders, and other Waterbury dignitaries! Shakesperience Artistic Director Emily Mattina will direct our city’s leaders and luminaries as they step out of the office and onto the stage for an amazing evening of fundraising for the arts education of our region’s children.

Desserts will be presented by Fascia’s Chocolates, Sweet Maria’s, Hello Sweetie, The Olive Oil Factory and Brooklyn Bakery. A cash bar will also be available.
Sweets to the Sweet 2016: An Evening of Shakespeare and Song will be held at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury, Connecticut on March 19, 2016. Doors will open at 7:30 pm, with performances and auctions beginning promptly at 8 pm. Tickets to the event are priced at $75.
