Truck Stuck on the Train Tracks in Naugatuck
Naugatuck Police Department and the MTA help remove the truck from the tracks.

At about 3:32 a.m. Naugatuck Police assisted the MTA Police in locating a reported Motor Vehicle stuck on train tracks.
Naugatuck and MTA officers assisted by MTA officials searched and eventually located a Jeep Cherokee stuck on the tracks. The vehicle was located in Naugatuck near the old Uniroyal Plant along Elm Street.
MTA was able to remove the vehicle from the tracks but were unable to remove the vehicle from the area. MTA Officials advised that the vehicle will be removed later tonight by a larger boom truck. The tracks were opened back up and service was resumed at about 8:45 AM this morning.
