The Watermark to Host Panel Discussion on Retirement Living
Panel will include former college professors now living at the Southbury retirement community
On Friday, July 29, The Watermark at East Hill will host a panel discussion on retirement living, featuring four residents of the retirement community. The event will be held from 11:30 – 1:30 at The Watermark, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.
The panel will include four current residents who will share individual stories and detail their research process, why they chose retirement living and what ultimately brought them to The Watermark. Time has been allotted at the end for a question and answer session and participants will be treated to lunch prepared by The Watermark’s award-winning chef.

· Jack Wohlhieter, a research scientist (biophysics) at Walter Reed Army Institute in Washington, DC
· Parker Moreland, a research and development physicist and science teacher at Wolcott High School

· Ed Atwood, an economics professor from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA
· Stanley Katz, a Professor of biomedical sciences (Emeritus) at Quinnipiac University
