Wind Topples Trees Onto Power Lines in Naugatuck: Police

BREAKING: A couple of hundred of residents are without power this morning.

"Its been a bit windy around here lately folks ... the wind huffed ... and it puffed ... and ... well .... It blew the trees right down onto power wires on Johnson Street near may Street ....

If this is the way you usually travel ... we would suggest you take an alternate route ... unless you are a beaver .... a HUNGRY beaver ...

(... If your a "Beaver Expect" please do not get technical with me ... as I admit I am not entirely sure beavers actually "Eat" wood ... but it sure sounded funny in my head when I wrote it ... so please play along!)

There are roughly 200 residents with out power in the area ... but the good news is that the wind is expected to die down as we progress through the morning today .... and the road and wires should be cleared within the next few hours ... as well as everyone's power ....
