Woman Reported Missing In Naugatuck; Police Ask For Help

A woman was reported missing by loved ones after she failed to return home Tuesday, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman. Agnes Rethy Gumbrecht, 49, was last seen leaving her home on Hillside Avenue in Naugatuck around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

She was wearing a white athletic top, black leggings, and light colored sneakers. Loved ones contacted police after she failed to return home.
