Cristina Aguirre-Ross Announces Candidacy For New Canaan First Selectman
She is the third Republican to seek the post.

NEW CANAAN, CT -- Another New Canaan Republican has decided to run for First Selectman.
Cristina Aguirre-Ross, vice-chair of the Republican Town Committee, announced her candidacy on Friday for New Canaan's top elected office. She plans to hold a press conference next week at Town Hall for a formal campaign launch.
She is the third Republican to seek the post, joining incumbent Rob Mallozzi III and fellow Town Council member Kevin Moynihan.

A licensed architect and published author, Aguirre-Ross is also a New Canaan Parks & Recreation Commissioner, and a member of the Open Space and Conservation Committee.
