Facelift Reportedly Set For New Canaan Finance Department
The department's Town Hall offices will receive a new floor plan.
NEW CANAAN, CT — Improvements are slated for the New Canaan Finance Department's office in Town Hall that are designed to make it more efficient, reports the New Canaan News.
About $45,000 has been set aside for the work, which will include installing new cubicles and lighting, and adding two new workspaces. The town is not planning to add personnel.
The moves follow the recent extension of the contract of interim CFO Sandra Dennies through the end of the year. Dennies told the publication that by making the department's space more efficient, it will better serve residents.
