Fight Continues Between Fotis Dulos, Mother-In-Law Over House

The estranged husband of missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Farber Dulos is trying to avoid the foreclosure of the Farmington home he lives in.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Fotis Dulos and his mother-in-law Gloria Farber are continuing the legal wrangling over the Farmington home he built and lives in but that Farber is trying to foreclose on.

Attorneys for Farber, the mother of missing New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos, filed for a protective order in a Hartford court this week to stop Fotis Dulos from poring over years of financial documents from Farber and her late husband.

Fotis Dulos' attorneys are seeking to prevent Farber from kicking him out of the house, though she has paid off the mortgage.

Farber's attorney argue that Fotis Dulos is seeking to essentially keep the home for free.

Fotis Dulos and his his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, are accused of evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution in connection with the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, who vanished on May 24. Fotis and Jennifer Dulos were in the midst of a contentious divorce and child custody battle at the time of her disappearance.

Both Fotis Dulos and Troconis have pleaded not guilty and are free on bond while their criminal cases wind their way through court.
