Missing Mom Case: Fotis Dulos Wants GPS Device Moved From Ankle

The suspect in the disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos appears to have developed a bit of a rash.

NEW CANAAN, CT — First it was suspect Michelle Troconis, who requested that the court allow her to leave the state for a short time, now fellow suspect in the disappearance of New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos is also requesting a modification to his bond agreement.

Fotis Dulos, whose estranged wife has been missing since May 24, wants the court to allow him to move the GPS monitoring device he is forced to wear from his ankle to his wrist because the current location causes the flesh "to be irritated and torn." His attorney, Norm Pattis filed the motion in Stamford Superior Court on Wednesday.

As part of the conditions of his release on bond, Fotis Dulos is required to wear the device, and the filing says that he had the device moved from one ankle to the other - with the help of the monitoring company - but the rash problem continued on the other ankle.

In addition to the GPS monitor, Fotis Dulos also was ordered not to leave the state and turn over his passport.

Troconis and Fotis Dulos, who are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19 and Aug. 9, respectively, have been charged with evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution in connection with the disappearance.

Also on Wednesday, Pattis filed a motion to have those charges dismissed.

Police accuse Fotis Dulos and Troconis of discarding items, some of which tested positive for Jennifer Dulos' blood, in the Hartford area - not far from Fotis Dulos' Farmington home - soon after the disappearance.

At Jennifer Dulos' New Canaan home, authorities discovered evidence of a possible violent attack having taken place in the garage.
