Jennifer Dulos, 50, has been missing from her New Canaan home for more than an month, and her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, and his ex-girlfriend have been charged with evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution in connection with her disappearance. The Duloses were in the midst of a bitter divorce and child custody battle at the time of Jennifer Dulos vanished, though his attorney has claims he had nothing to do with her disappearance.
Police said Fotis Dulos and Troconis were seen dumping clothing, sponges and other items in Hartford soon after Jennifer Dulos went missing. Some of those items were stained with Jennifer Dulos' blood, and Fotis Dulos' DNA was found mixed with Jennifer Dulos' blood, according to State's Attorney Richard Colangelo. The discovery of some of the bloodstained items prompted the search at the garbage plant.
