New Canaan Finance, Ed Boards To Lose Chairs: Report
Both are relinquishing the positions at year's end.
NEW CANAAN, CT — John Sheffield, current chair of the New Canaan Board of Finance, and Dionna Carlson, chair of the Board of Education, are both relinquishing their leadership positions at year's end, spelling big changes for both boards, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.
Sheffield, who also says he may not remain on the board past year's end, is giving up the post, while Carlson is term limited in the position.
In addition to those two boards, New Canaan is holding municipal elections this fall and will also get a new First Selectman and a new chair of the Town Council.
