New Canaan Vs. Wethersfield Football Game Postponed: Update
The two were set to play on Tuesday; New Canaan is coming off an impressive Thanksgiving Day victory over Darien in the 2019 Turkey Bowl.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The #4-ranked New Canaan High School Rams is scheduled to host the #5-ranked Wethersfield High School Eagles on Wednesday evening in New Canaan in a Class L playoff football game.
Originally the game was scheduled for Tuesday, but it was postponed to Wednesday due to the inclement weather expected to sweep through Connecticut Monday and Tuesday.
Both teams enter Wednesday's game with 8-2 records, with New Canaan coming off a stirring victory over arch rival Darien in the 2019 Thanksgiving Day Turkey Bowl. New Canaan's two losses were early in the season to Ridgefield and St. Joseph.

Wethersfield's two losses were to Daniel Hand and Maloney. Darien is scheduled to face Greenwich Wednesday evening in a Class LL playoff game at Darien High School.
Wednesday's game in New Canaan is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
