New Canaan PD Searches For Credit Card Thief Who Spent $12,000

NEW CANAAN, CT — New Canaan police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a stolen credit card case who went on an illegal $12,000 shopping spree at the new SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk last month.
On Facebook, the department posted several surveillance and other images of the woman, who is accused of stealing the credit cards from a parked vehicle at the New Canaan Mounted Troop riding school on Carter Street.
"The female used the credit cards in the SoNo Collections Mall in Norwalk, CT on 11/14/2019," officials wrote. "Over $12,000 worth of items from Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, and Pink stores were purchased on the stolen credit cards."
