NEW CANAAN, CT — State police investigators Wednesday searched one of the reservoirs associated with the Metropolitan District Control water treatment facility in West Hartford in the ongoing search for missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Farber Dulos, according to New Canaan police.

The MDC facility has six reservoirs, and among other communities, it supplies drinking water to parts of Farmington, according to the MDC website. "As more information becomes appropriate for public release additional press releases and or press conferences will occur."

It appears that nothing has been found at the facility, reports NBC Connecticut. The search included a dive team, but whether investigators will continue searching the facility after Wednesday was not immediately known.

Fotis Dulos and Jennifer Dulos, who together have five children, were in the midst of a contentious divorce and child custody battle at the time of her disappearance on May 24.

Since then, a host of locations in New Canaan, Farmington, Avon, and Hartford, among others, have been searched. Fotis Dulos, and his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, have been charged with evidence tampering and hindering a prosecution in connection with Jennifer Dulos' disappearance.

The two are accused of discarding items stained with Jennifer Dulos' blood soon after her disappearance. Both are free on bond and have pleaded not guilty.
