Review Underway Of Sports Field Renovation Project: Report
The New Canaan Audit Committee is conducting the review.
NEW CANAAN, CT — The town's Audit Committee has begun a review of the troubled New Canaan sports field renovation project, which recently required a huge infusion of cash to complete.
Among the matters the review will look at include the work of officials and private groups in the planning and communication that brought the project to fruition, reports the New Canaan Advertiser. The allocation for the project has swelled to nearly $6 million.
Additionally, the committee has launched a separate review of town practices as it relates to projects, with recommendations for improvements.
