Search For Missing New Canaan Mom Enters 4th Week

Jennifer Dulos, 50, has been missing since May 24, and authorities are continuing the search for clues.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Authorities continued to look for clues in ponds in Avon, and at the Hartford garbage plant, in the search for missing mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos, the 50-year-old New Canaan resident who has been missing since May 24.

WFSB-TV writes that police sources have indicated that so far nothing has been found at the two ponds.

Since her disappearance, New Canaan police have received hundreds of tips and dozens of surveillance videos from around town. The department established a website and email address last week dedicated to the search.

Jennifer Dulos was in the midst of a contentious divorce case and custody battle with her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, 51, at the time of her disappearance. Fotis Dulos, who has been charged in connection evidence tampering in the disappearance, lives in Farmington and reportedly water skied in Avon. His girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, also has been charged in connection with the disappearance.

Last week, Judge Donna Nelson Heller ordered certain documents in that case be sealed while the search is ongoing, reports the Stamford Advocate. Jennifer Dulos' mother, Gloria Farber, is seeking custody of the five children; currently the children are staying with Farber.
